With over 25 years of administrative experience, Melissa serves as Director of Operations at OC Sport Psychology, ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience. A former elite platform diver recruited by UCLA, she began her career as a Surgical Technologist before moving into pediatric medicine, where she managed the front office and built a strong foundation in patient-centered healthcare, before later transitioning into business and finance.
Sports remain central to her life through her family. Her oldest son played varsity baseball and graduated from the University of Utah, where his wife played collegiate softball and now coaches at a Division I program. Her middle son played collegiate lacrosse in the Midwest after fielding multiple scholarship offers, and her youngest is beginning his athletic journey. Having competed at an elite level herself and raised her sons through every stage of competitive sports, Melissa brings firsthand understanding of the dedication, resilience, and family investment high-level performance requires. That insight shapes how she leads a practice built to serve athletes and their families.
