Melissa brings over 25 years of administrative and operational expertise to OC Sport Psychology. As Director of Operations, she ensures the practice runs smoothly, clients feel welcomed, and day-to-day processes support the highest level of service. A former high-level platform diver who attracted interest from UCLA, Melissa combines her passion for athletics with a strong professional background in healthcare—having served as both a Surgical Technologist and Office Manager in pediatric medicine.
In addition to her professional experience, Melissa is deeply connected to the world of sports through her family. Her oldest son pitched varsity baseball and graduated from the University of Utah, where his wife—played Division I softball and now serves as an assistant coach at a Division I program in Utah. Her middle son played collegiate lacrosse in the Midwest after receiving multiple scholarship offers, and her youngest is beginning his journey in youth sports. Melissa’s unique perspective as both a former athlete and the parent of high-performing athletes allows her to support clients and their families with empathy, insight, and a calm, steady understanding to the value of parental support and how it plays a significant role for elite athletes.
