Melissa brings over 25 years of administrative and operational leadership to OC Sport Psychology. As Director of Operations, she ensures seamless day-to-day functioning, a welcoming client experience, and systems that support the highest level of service. A former elite platform diver who attracted interest from UCLA, she combines her passion for athletics with a diverse background in healthcare and business operations.
She began her career as a Surgical Technologist before transitioning into pediatric medicine, where she worked in office management and gained extensive experience in patient-centered healthcare operations before moving into business and financial operations.
In addition to her professional experience, Melissa is deeply connected to the world of sports through her family. Her oldest son pitched varsity baseball and graduated from the University of Utah, where his wife played collegiate softball and now serves as an assistant coach at a Division I program in Utah. Her middle son played collegiate lacrosse in the Midwest after receiving multiple scholarship offers, and her youngest is beginning his journey in youth sports.
As both a former athlete and the parent of high-performing student-athletes, Melissa brings empathy, insight, and a deep understanding of the critical role parental strategies play in the development and success of elite athletes.
